Responsibilities
- Strategic discovery: Synthesize requirements from stakeholders into comprehensive user flows, sitemaps, and conceptual frameworks
- Operational excellence: Own your delivery pipeline
- Validation and metrics: Partner with the Head of Product Experience to analyze product metrics and user feedback
- Rapid and adaptive prototyping: Build prototypes at various levels of fidelity to validate experience assumptions, technical constraints, and business logic with Engineering and Product teams
- Design system governance: Contribute to the technical integrity of our Figma design system
- Documentation and rationale: Maintain rigorous standards for design traceability
- Cross-functional leadership: Work as a peer to Engineering and Product Managers, ensuring that the experience intent is preserved through the realities of technical implementation
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Product Design or Systems Design
- High-level problem solving: A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to navigate ambiguity – showing how you move from a vague problem statement to a sophisticated, functional solution
- Systems fluency: Deep experience working with (or building) scalable Design Systems
- User and market research: Proficiency in conducting competitive audits and user testing, and the ability to translate those findings into improved product flows
- Technical literacy: A strong understanding of web and mobile platform constraints (iOS/Android)
