The Lead Product Designer will set the experience vision and direction across mobile and web for the Member & Provider Experience, partnering with leadership to transform complexity into simple, trusted experiences. This role involves owning end-to-end experiences, defining strategy, raising quality standards, and scaling design through robust systems and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a clear experience vision, principles, and strategic roadmap
- Facilitate cross-functional discovery and decision-making
- Influence problem framing, success metrics, and scope using qualitative insights and quantitative signals
- Design hands-on: flows, IA, interaction models, UI, prototypes
- Translate real constraints into consumer-grade experiences that build trust
- Plan or guide research, synthesize findings into clear narratives, and drive shipped decisions
- Evolve and govern the design system: scalable patterns, accessibility, documentation, and adoption
Requirements
- 7+ years designing digital products at a product/tech company
- Comfortable moving fast in scrappy, startup-style environments
- Strong interaction and visual craft, and fluency building with design systems at scale
- Demonstrated thoughtful use of AI in day-to-day design practice
- Proven ability to lead multi-team, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
