The role involves designing visually compelling content for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest, including editing photography and creating engaging graphics for posts and campaigns. Responsibilities also include editing short-form video content and developing scalable social design templates.

Responsibilities

  • Design visually compelling content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
  • Edit and enhance photography to maintain a polished, premium brand aesthetic
  • Create engaging graphics, layouts, and visual storytelling elements for social posts, stories, and campaigns
  • Edit short-form video content using CapCut, Premiere, or similar editing tools
  • Assist with content capture (photo and video) when needed
  • Develop and maintain scalable social design templates and visual systems, including working within Canva
  • Collaborate with the social team to support the planning and execution of social content calendars
  • Work closely with marketing to translate campaign ideas and brand messaging into compelling visual content
  • Stay immersed in social media trends, internet culture, and digital design styles to keep creative relevant and engaging
  • Organize and manage creative assets for efficient team collaboration
  • Use engagement and performance insights to refine creative approaches and improve content performance
  • Design content optimized for the unique formats and behaviors of each social platform

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Digital Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in graphic design, digital design, or social media design
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience working in Canva or similar social design platforms
  • Experience editing short-form video content for social media
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, layout, typography, and color
  • Strong aesthetic judgment and understanding of modern social media visual culture
  • Excellent attention to detail in image editing, composition, and brand consistency
  • Ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously in a fast-paced marketing environment
  • Ability to travel occasionally for photoshoots, content capture, or brand initiatives as needed
  • A portfolio demonstrating social media design, digital marketing graphics, or lifestyle brand creative is required
