Senior Graphic Designer

The Senior Graphic Designer develops strategic visual solutions for print and digital materials to support university marketing objectives, reporting to the Art Director. Responsibilities include creating and executing concepts, consulting with clients, maintaining brand continuity, and directing photo shoots.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute concepts for print and digital collateral with great attention to quality and detail
- Consult with internal clients, UT team members and vendors on creative project needs and present concepts with supporting brand and marketing rationale
- Maintain UT brand continuity and visual appearance in print, digital and multimedia environments
- Direct photo shoots and photo searches as needed for creative projects
- Develop and manage inventory of relevant materials, supplies, equipment, photos, graphics, and design assets
- Preflight/prep files for both print and digital
- Coordinate production with printers, including press checks
- Organize and maintain digital project files within the established archival system
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of experience in graphic design and production
- Ability to design and produce high-quality work with a strong sense of concept development, superior design, technical and editing skills, and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends
- Experience with the printing process including print specifications and final files service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, work within budget, and collaborate with a team
- Fluency in Adobe CC, Keynote, PPT, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
