The Product Designer will be responsible for translating ideas into visually appealing and functional designs, taking key initiatives from the product roadmap and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure accurate implementation. They will advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to a culture of innovation while staying current with industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Take key initiatives from the product roadmap and create designs that bring these ideas to life
- Collaborate with teams across Omaze to define product requirements and user needs
- Work closely with the development team to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently
- Advocate for user-centred design principles and contribute to a culture of innovation and creativity within the business
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in design
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Designer
- Strong portfolio showcasing design process and outcomes
- Experience designing B2C products (ideally within E-commerce or Subscriptions)
- T-shaped designer: solid across product thinking, UX, and interaction design, with a deep spike in UI/visual craft
- Experience with Figma
- Ability to create powerful and compelling stories through the use of data and design
