Additionally, the designer will support monetization through meaningful UX and contribute to evolving the core learning experience and experimenting with AI-powered features.
Responsibilities
- Own and elevate the first-time user experience, designing onboarding flows, aha moments, and early success loops
- Support monetization through meaningful UX, designing monetization flows that align with user intent and real value
- Contribute to evolving the core learning experience, from content delivery to habit-forming mechanics
- Experiment boldly in the AI Lab, prototyping, testing, and validating cutting-edge features powered by AI
- Drive real product impact, working closely with engineers, analysts, and product leadership to run discovery, identify and frame problems, design and iterate on solutions, and guide solutions through development and launch
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience working on real-world products, ideally mobile-first consumer apps
- Proven experience designing flows that drive successful onboarding, engagement, and early habit formation
- Comfortable designing around AI-powered features and working with uncertain hypotheses
- Confident with Figma, including components, auto layout, variants, prototyping, and versioning workflows
- Skilled in contributing to and expanding scalable, efficient design systems
- Product mindset and ownership, thinking beyond the pixels and pushing for product excellence
- Initiative and drive, identifying opportunities and proposing bold ideas
- Detail-oriented craft, caring deeply about spacing, clarity, copy, and everything in between
- Clear communicator, explaining design decisions clearly and openly
