The Graphic Designer will create high-quality visual assets for healthcare marketing and communications across print and digital platforms, ensuring all designs align with brand standards, accessibility, and regulatory compliance. Key tasks include designing patient education materials, supporting social media and advertising campaigns, updating digital systems, and managing multiple projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design marketing and patient education materials for print and digital platforms
- Translate complex medical information into clear, engaging visuals
- Maintain brand consistency and adhere to accessibility and compliance standards
- Prepare production-ready files for print vendors and digital platforms
- Support updates to websites, intranet, and patient portals
- Support organic social media and paid advertising campaigns by creating compelling designs and engaging visual elements
- Upload digital assets to the Everwell TV system (YantraSign)
- Update MIC core brand assets for internal stakeholders, including company letterheads, PowerPoint templates, etc.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Stay current on healthcare design trends and best practices
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Design or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic design
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Advanced understanding of branding principles, colour psychology, and visual communication concepts
- Comfortable working with Windows PC and MAC
- Strong writing and editing skills; impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Experience with Canva, PowerPoint or a similar program to create basic animations is an asset
- Experience designing a newsletter is an asset
