Senior UI/UX Designer

The Senior UI/UX Designer will be responsible for crafting intuitive and accessible interfaces for advanced analytics and data visualization platforms, transforming complex data workflows into engaging user experiences. Key duties include conducting user research, developing wireframes and prototypes using tools like Figma, and collaborating with data engineers on dashboard design while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user interviews, workflow analysis, and usability testing to identify user needs and pain points
- Develop personas, journey maps, and interaction models tailored to analytics and operational users
- Translate research findings into actionable design improvements
- Promote user-centered design principles across project teams
- Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Develop clean, modern UI designs optimized for data-heavy applications
- Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA
- 12 years with HS diploma/equivalent can be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web-based applications
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
- Strong understanding of typography, layout principles, color theory, and design systems
- Experience designing for analytics dashboards or data visualization platforms
- Knowledge of usability testing and user research methodologies
Benefits
- Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000
- Overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
