Product Designer

The Product Designer will partner with product managers and engineers to uncover user needs, translate insights into clear software solutions, and iterate designs from early concepts through to the shipped product. Key activities include planning and conducting research, rapidly prototyping ideas, and communicating design intent via various deliverables like mockups and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner effectively within a cross-functional team (product, design, engineering) to deliver meaningful product outcomes
• Plan and conduct research to understand user needs, workflows, and constraints
• Rapidly prototype ideas (low → high fidelity), validate with customers/prospects, and iterate based on what you learn
• Communicate design intent and rationale through deliverables like mockups, workflow diagrams, prototypes, and usability findings
• Help ensure what ships matches the intended experience—clear states, edge cases handled, and polish where it matters

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a product designer for software
• 3+ years of experience designing the software UI of enterprise-level B2B or B2C applications
• 3+ years experience as an embedded designer in cross-functional teams
• Holder of a degree or certification in design, human-computer interaction, software engineering; or have equivalent training in product design and user experience principles and methods
• Owner of an online portfolio that represents your (non-confidential) work including an example of a product design flow
