Product Designer - 1st hire, build with AI

The Product Designer will own the full design process end-to-end, from research and discovery through polished UI, focusing on creating intuitive, accessible experiences for complex financial problems. They will also be responsible for evolving the design system and leveraging AI tools to amplify research, exploration, and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end experiences
• Own the full design process: from research and discovery through wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI
• Evolve the design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the product
• Use data, user research, and experimentation to continuously validate and improve designs
• Collaborate across teams to inform and iterate on designs with product, marketing, engineering, and customer experience

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally in fintech or consumer-facing applications
• Advanced proficiency in Storybook, Figma, and Framer
• Strong ability to translate complex problems into clear, intuitive user flows
• Experience with design systems, component-based UI, and design-to-development handoff
• Familiarity with experimentation, A/B testing concepts, and using data to inform design decisions
