Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing a wide variety of content for a federal client, including toolkits, web content, social media, and slide decks, translating complex issues into visually appealing and Section 508 compliant materials. Primary duties involve planning, generating, and delivering client-ready materials, creating story-driven narratives for outreach campaigns, and producing live action and animated videos.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex, sensitive issues into visually appealing content
- Plan, generate and deliver client-ready materials for stakeholders
- Create story-driven narratives using visual elements for digital outreach campaigns
- Recommend creative concept and new approaches for communication activities
- Review products for Section 508 compliance and adherence to client branding guidelines
- Produce live action and animated videos
- Capture photos and b-roll at events and conferences
- Assist with other duties as requested
Requirements
- 3 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Understanding of Section 508 accessibility guidelines and standards
- Proven experience leading digital content communications and outreach campaigns
- Experience developing digital communications products
- Demonstrated experience synthesizing complex information into appealing visuals
- Demonstrated experience with industry-leading software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
- Ability to build relationships and effectively manage expectations with diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Ability to manage competing deadlines
- Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government
- Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
