Product Design Engineering Intern - HP IQ

Interns will collaborate with Product Design and Industrial Design teams to conceptualize, design, and build prototypes to validate ideas, utilizing 3D CAD software to model components for new consumer devices. They will also design and run experiments, applying technical analysis to guide design decisions while working with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Design and Industrial Design teams to conceptualize, design, and build prototypes
- Use 3D CAD software to model parts, components, and assemblies
- Create detailed 2D drawings for fabrication and work closely with vendor partners
- Design and run experiments, applying technical analysis to guide design decisions
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Product Design Engineering
- Experience using 3D CAD (NX preferred) to design mechanical components and assemblies
- Passion and experience in building and prototyping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
