The Drafting & Design Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers and designers to produce high-quality engineering designs, drafting, and analyses supporting NGL & NGLs operations, ensuring technical execution aligns with departmental standards. This role involves managing team performance, developing department strategy for workload distribution, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on design practices, and overseeing the creation and maintenance of drafting specifications and standards.
Responsibilities
- Manages a team of engineers and designers
- Applies an advanced level of engineering knowledge and experience to mentor supervisors, design engineers, and designers
- Ensures team is responsive and develops a collaborative teamwork approach
- Drives internal relationship building with project management teams and business partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 8 years of professional experience
- 2 years leadership experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License required
