Senior Web Designer & Project Manager, Federal Digital Services

This role involves leading senior-level web design and development efforts for both external and internal NSF websites while managing associated projects, priorities, and schedules. The individual will also advise staff on best practices regarding web design, accessibility, and usability.
Responsibilities
- Lead web design and development efforts for NSF external and internal websites
- Manage web-related projects, priorities, and schedules
- Advise NSF staff on web design best practices, accessibility, and usability
- Ensure compliance with US Web Design System, Section 508, and plain language standards
- Coordinate work across designers, developers, and content contributors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Degree in computer science or related field preferred
- At least three (3) years of experience working in a Drupal environment
- Experience leading small teams performing web design services
- Comprehensive knowledge of HTML and web accessibility requirements
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and ServiceNow
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
