The role involves leading the entire design process for a responsive web application, from creating low-fidelity wireframes to pixel-perfect designs and clickable prototypes, while owning and improving the Issuer Services Design System in collaboration with developers. Key duties also include guiding implementation decisions, performing testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and documenting business rules related to designs.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design process from start to finish for a responsive web application
- Producing low fidelity wireframes, high fidelity pixel-perfect designs as well as clickable prototypes
- Being responsible for the creation and excellence of user journeys
- Owning, maintaining, and continually improving the Issuer Services Design System
- Guiding developers and testers day-to-day when UX and UI decisions need to be made during implementation
Requirements
- Consistent record of designing complex, responsive, web-based features from start to finish
- Demonstrable experience of taking a significant user need or pain-point and figuring out what the solution might be
- Experience of co-owning and evolving a Design System
- Technical skills: Figma, Able to understand backend and architectural issues at a high level, Experience in front end web development would be a plus
- Soft Skills: Passionate about design and web applications, Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and creative thinking skills
