The Principal Product Designer will be responsible for elevating OpenUp’s end-to-end product experience across key journeys on web and mobile, co-creating the product and design vision with leadership, and improving information architecture and navigation for coherence and ease of use. This role involves designing and shipping high-craft interaction/UI work, utilizing rapid prototyping, and strengthening HR/admin experiences to make insights actionable.
Responsibilities
- Elevate OpenUp’s end-to-end product experience across key journeys (onboarding, booking, check-ins, content, progress) on web + mobile
- Co-create product and design vision with Product and Leadership
- Improve information architecture and navigation
- Design and ship high-craft interaction/UI work
- Use rapid prototyping to explore solutions quickly and validate with users and data
Requirements
- 8+ years in product design (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent interaction design and information architecture skills
- Experience designing across web and mobile
- Strong collaboration with product and engineering teams
- Comfortable with constraints and trade-offs
- Strong communication skills
