The role involves creating computer-generated proofs, illustrations, mockups, and full-color graphic designs for various print materials like signs, banners, and packaging, while collaborating with clients and internal teams to meet objectives and brand standards. Responsibilities also include preparing final artwork files with correct formatting, color correction (RGB to CMYK), and resolution optimization for print and cut readiness.
Responsibilities
- Create computer-generated proofs, illustrations and mockups, layouts, working files and full-color graphic designs for print production
- Develop creative concepts, graphics, and layouts that align with client objectives, specifications, and company brand standards
- Design a wide variety of print materials, including but not limited to signs, banners, posters, decals, window graphics, brochures, flyers, and packaging
- Collaborate with clients, sales, and production teams to understand project requirements, timelines, and design expectations
- Utilize industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite) to develop, revise, and finalize artwork
- Review proofs and mock-ups to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications prior to production
- Prepare final artwork files for print, including proper formatting, color correction, color conversions such as RGB to CMYK , and resolution optimization
- Prepare print- and cut-ready files, including bleeds, crop marks, cut and score lines, hole locations, and finishing layers as required
- Archive completed project files and maintain organized digital asset management systems
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing workload to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and best practices related to print and graphic design
- Collaborate closely with project managers and production team members to ensure final products meet quality expectations and client satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a portfolio demonstrating technical and creative print-based design work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) required; experience with Onyx Thrive or similar RIP software is preferred
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and print production processes
- Ability to interpret client needs and translate them into effective visual designs
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
