The Senior UI Designer translates user needs into visually engaging and easy-to-use designs, making deliberate decisions to ensure intuitive interfaces while producing necessary UI artifacts from concept to deployment. They are responsible for developing the design process, mentoring others, identifying design problems, and ensuring high-quality product development through design systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the design process to be followed in the product development lifecycle
- Make strategic design decisions related to the core or new functions and features
- Give direction and mentorship to those in need
- Identify design problems to invent proper, smart solutions
- Seek design critiques actively to improve the quality of the work produced, and grow with the feedback
Requirements
- BA Degree in Graphic Design / Visual Design / A related field or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in designing visual language systems for digital products
- A love of collaboration, self-growth, and learning
- Proficiency in design tools and software
- A passion to learn and keep up with design and technology trends
