Lead UX Designer, Public Web

The Lead UX Designer will be responsible for website UX and design leadership, including designing user flows, prototypes, and partnering with the content team on navigation and taxonomy for public websites. They will also be tasked with creating a scalable design system of atomic components, patterns, and documentation leveraging Figma.
Responsibilities
- Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for public websites
- Partner with content team to manage overall approach to site navigation, taxonomy, metadata, and dynamic content
- Leverage user research, journey mapping, and competitive analysis to understand user needs and identify opportunities
- Collaborate with product, marketing, analytics, and engineering stakeholders to align design with strategic objectives
- Conduct usability testing (qualitative and quantitative), review analytics and interpret results to iterate on solutions
- Help create a scalable design system of atomic components, patterns, and documentation, for responsive web, leveraging Figma’s design system features
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in User Experience Design, design systems, digital content design, B2B marketing or adjacent fields
- Expert skills in Figma
- Demonstrate strong UX and design skill via portfolio or case studies with examples
- Understanding of current trends and future direction of design
- Demonstrate ability to problem solve and provide directional guidance in whitespace
- Strong attention to detail related to material accuracy, version control, design element consistency, and brand standards
- Expert understanding of UX, web, mobile best practices
- Strong understanding of marketing technology, data capabilities and emerging technologies and how to use this knowledge to inform your work
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Ability to lead and influence design work with stakeholders and partners
- Be a go-to resource for UX design related questions
- Expert cross-functional collaboration skills
