
Senior Product Designer, Motion

This role involves evolving Datadogâs visual design direction at the system level by defining new motion experience patterns and interaction models, alongside designing and coding the motion system for the design system. The designer will also prototype new visual ideas using AI-assisted workflows and partner with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation.
Responsibilities
- Evolve Datadog's visual design direction at the system level
- Design and code the motion system for the design system
- Partner with Brand and Product Design to align product visuals
- Work closely with the Design Systems engineering team
- Prototype and iterate on new visual ideas with AI-assisted workflows
Requirements
- 7+ years of product design experience
- Experience in motion design and AI-first interaction
- Strong visual taste and ability to bring others along
- Ability to work with code and AI tooling
- Experience with design systems and front-end technologies
