The Product Designer will collaborate with cross-functional partners to design thoughtful user experiences for the Aerospike Cloud Platform, creating artifacts like wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Responsibilities also include contributing to user research, evolving the design system, and partnering with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design thoughtful user experiences
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design solutions
- Contribute to user research and usability testing efforts to validate and improve designs
- Help evolve and apply our design system to ensure consistency across the platform
- Translate complex workflows into clear, usable interface patterns
- Partner with frontend engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of designs
- Continuously refine your craft and stay current with UX/UI best practices and industry trends
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in UI/UX or product design, ideally for SaaS or cloud-based applications
- Proficiency in Figma or similar modern design tools
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Experience designing responsive web applications
- Ability to think through user flows and interaction patterns for moderately complex workflows
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and how frontend systems work
- Strong communication skills and comfort presenting design work and rationale
