Junior UX Designer
Verndale Llc Remote (🇺🇸 United States of America)
The Junior UX Designer will support the strategy, design, and optimization of user-centered digital experiences across web and marketing platforms, collaborating with various teams to translate business goals and user needs into intuitive solutions. Key tasks include creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows, contributing to Information Architecture development, and ensuring UX intent is maintained through implementation.
Responsibilities
- Creating wireframes, low and mid fidelity prototypes, and user flows under guidance from senior UX team members
- Translating business requirements and user needs into clear interaction patterns
- Collaborating with UI Designers to ensure seamless handoff from wireframes to visual design
- Partnering with CMS Producers and Developers to ensure UX intent is maintained through implementation
- Contributing to IA development including sitemap creation and content hierarchy
- Participating in internal brainstorming sessions, design critiques, and project reviews
- Conducting QA reviews to ensure the final product aligns with UX strategy and usability best practices
- Staying informed on emerging UX trends, digital marketing strategies, accessibility standards, and industry best practice
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of UX, digital design, or related experience, internships included
- Proficiency in Figma
- Understanding of UX fundamentals including usability, accessibility, and responsive design
- Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping best practices
- Basic understanding of information architecture principles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to clearly articulate UX decisions and rationale
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is a plus
- Exposure to digital marketing ecosystems is a plus
- Experience working with content matrix and copywriting is a plus
- Agency experience preferred but not required
