The Senior UX Designer will make strategic design decisions for new features, conduct user research, and interpret data to invent smart solutions for digital products. They must define the user experience through artifacts like information architecture, wireframes, and user journeys, while also providing mentorship and seeking design critiques.
Responsibilities
- Make strategic design decisions related to core or new functions and features
- Participate, facilitate, and conduct research with end users and stakeholders
- Interpret quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful insights
- Identify design problems and invent proper solutions to deliver great user experiences
- Follow usability, ergonomics, and accessibility acceptances to create design concepts
- Define the user experience design through information architecture, wireframes, and user flows
- Articulate hard-to-see aspects of a product’s user experience and communicate through experience maps, user journeys, and conceptual designs
Requirements
- BA Degree in Design or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in research and experience design with digital products or services
- Proficiency in research/design tools and software
- A passion to learn and keep up with design and technology trends
- Strong verbal and visual presentation skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
