The UX Designer will define user flows through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for ESTL products, while also conducting user research and organizing testing sessions to validate designs. Responsibilities also include managing stakeholder requirements and providing design specifications to development teams.
Responsibilities
- Define user flows in the form of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for ESTL products
- Conduct user research to understand the needs and challenges to make informed design decisions
- Organize user testing sessions to validate designs and gather valuable insights
- Contribute to and make use of our evolving design system to ensure consistency and scalability across ESTL products
- Manage stakeholder requirements and incorporate them into the product design
- Create and provide design specifications and assets to ensure accurate implementation of designs by development teams
- Facilitate kick-off workshops to define objectives, gather requirements, and align on business perspectives
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience as a UI/UX designer
- Experience in building digital products with end-to-end delivery involvement
- Good communication skills to justify design rationale to stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, business analysts, and product owners
- Good problem-solving skills, meticulous, and detail-oriented
- Strong design skills and proficiency in Figma, Maze, Dovetail, and other design tools
- Experience in using design systems to ensure scalability, efficiency, and consistency
- Strong design portfolio that demonstrates experience
- Preferably worked in the government or education sector
- Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles
