UX Designer - MES/Manufacturing

The UX Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive and efficient user experiences for Manufacturing and MES platforms, focusing on improving shop-floor usability, production visibility, and real-time operational decision-making. This involves developing user personas, mapping production workflows, designing monitoring dashboards, and simplifying data entry interfaces for industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop user personas and map production workflows
- Identify usability gaps in existing MES systems
- Design intuitive dashboards for production monitoring
- Simplify shop-floor data entry interfaces
- Improve usability of work instruction screens and quality control modules
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, HCI, Industrial Design, or related field
- 5–8 years of UX experience, with at least 2–3 years in manufacturing or enterprise applications
- Experience designing for MES, ERP manufacturing modules, or shop-floor systems
- Strong portfolio demonstrating workflow simplification and dashboard design
