The Product Designer will be responsible for developing new user experiences from scratch using the design system, owning the end-to-end design process from concept to engineering delivery, and transforming standard moments into delightful user experiences. They will work closely with founders and engineering to define goals, create prototypes, and craft high-quality product deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Develop new user experiences from scratch: This includes using our design system to build new flows as well as ensuring alignment between our brand and product experience
- Own our end-to-end design process: You will take a concept and turn it into a reality with Figma wireframes the engineers can develop and with the marketing team to ship to consumers
- Breathe life into our product and brand: You will transform standard moments into surprising and delightful end-user experiences and ads
- Be at the heart of our product development process: You will work closely with our founders and engineering team to help define problems and goals, wireframe prototypes, and craft product deliverables at the highest quality level
Requirements
- +3 years of relevant Product Design experience in a hyper-growth tech company (>$1b USD valuation) with heavy engagement
- Creative approach to problem-solving with an eye for beautiful, simple designs, strong attention to detail, and due diligence
- A keen sense for human emotion and how to build products that surprise and delight consumers
- Ability to think deeply about user needs and articulate design decisions - while maintaining an understanding of technical implications
- Solid written and verbal communication, understanding that the copy in your screens is never an afterthought
- Ideally based in London or willing to relocate (ARQ can sponsor your visa)
