The role involves contributing to user-centered design across web, desktop, and mobile platforms by creating necessary artifacts like wireframes and prototypes, while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and research partners throughout the development lifecycle. Designers must apply research findings and data to iterate on designs, ensuring consistency and accessibility using the established design system.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of user-centered experiences across web, desktop, and mobile platforms
- Create wireframes, visual designs, and interactive prototypes using established design patterns and systems
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Research partners to support product development from concept through delivery
- Apply UX research findings, usability feedback, and data to iterate on designs and improve user experience
- Work within Omnissa’s design system to ensure visual consistency, accessibility, and scalability
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing digital products
- A portfolio demonstrating thoughtful interaction and visual design
- Experience designing for web and mobile applications; additional platform experience (desktop or others) is a plus
- Experience working with design systems and contributing to evolving patterns
- Comfort collaborating with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers
- A user-centered approach, with awareness of platform and business context
