Senior UI Designer, Design Systems

The Senior UI Designer will design, evolve, and maintain UI components and patterns within the Lumen Design System, collaborating closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and production-ready. This role involves advocating for accessibility, usability, and consistency across platforms while providing guidance to consuming design teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, evolve, and maintain UI components and patterns within the Lumen Design System
- Collaborate daily with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and production-ready
- Advocate for accessibility, usability, and consistency across web and native platforms
- Provide guidance and support to product and design teams consuming the design system
Requirements
- Strong UI design capability with attention to detail
- Demonstrated understanding of front-end development concepts
- Experience designing for web and native platforms (iOS and/or Android)
- Advanced proficiency in Figma
- Ability to create usable, accessible, and modular designs in a sustainable way
- Proven experience working effectively in cross-functional teams
