The designer will shape user experiences across audio plugins and web platforms, leveraging an AI-augmented workflow for rapid iteration, prototyping, and design system maintenance. Key tasks include using generative tools for exploration, building high-fidelity prototypes with modern tools, and synthesizing user research using LLMs.
Responsibilities
- AI-assisted exploration: Utilize generative tools to rapidly iterate on interface concepts, moodboards, and user journeys, exploring a broader range of directions in less time
- Rapid prototyping: Design functional and high-fidelity prototypes using modern 'prompt-to-design' and 'prompt-to-code' tools to test ideas before development
- Maintain an intelligent design system: Contribute to the evolution of the Figma design system by integrating AI-enriched components and automated documentation
- Design audits: Leverage AI-based audit tools to ensure visual consistency, accessibility compliance, and adherence to best UX practices across the product suite
- Collaborate and align: Work with PMs and developers to ensure designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also technically feasible and aligned with strategic objectives
- User research synthesis: Use LLM to synthesize user research and usability testing data, transforming raw feedback into actionable insights
- Be proactive: Optimize workflows, improve user experiences, and take initiative without waiting for permission
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in conceiving digital experiences, ideally in a SaaS or creative tools environment
- Active use of AI generative tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney) to explore concepts, solve problems, and optimize design processes
- Iterative work approach prioritizing 'deliver and learn' and rapid experimentation
- Strong user empathy and ability to design solutions addressing real creative frustrations
- Passion for music and good understanding of the music production process (DAW, plugins, etc.)
- Excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken
- Advanced expertise in Figma (auto-layout, variables, library management, and design systems)
- Experience with an AI-augmented design stack (e.g., Magic Patterns, Figma Make, Relume, Loveable, Framer AI, or similar tools)
- Mastery of language models (LLM) for content generation, user research synthesis, and workflow automation
