Staff Product Designer, Discovery Experience

The Staff Product Designer will define the vision for search and discovery experiences across Faire's ecosystem, leading the end-to-end design process from discovery to execution. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally to explore new paradigms like AI-assisted search and evolving the design system.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision for how users search and discover across Faire’s ecosystem
• Lead end-to-end design: from deep discovery and rapid prototyping through polished execution and production
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and data teams to explore new paradigms
• Tell powerful stories that connect design vision to tangible business and customer impact
• Push Faire’s design system forward through the lens of your work — evolving patterns, motion, and visual language that scale across the platform

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing complex, high-impact digital products
• Deep expertise in interaction design, visual craft, and systems thinking
• Proven ability to lead with vision — influencing strategy and aligning cross-functional partners through compelling storytelling
• Strong ability to connect design direction to business and customer outcomes
• Comfort exploring and experimenting with new tools and workflows for rapid prototyping and AI-integrated design
