
Lead Product Designer

The Lead Product Designer will be responsible for transforming Artsy into the discovery portal for new collectors by designing high-impact, top-of-funnel experiences that drive customer acquisition and brand building, often at the intersection of AI-powered personalization. This involves owning design-led customer acquisition strategies, designing discovery journeys, and integrating qualitative and quantitative data to continuously improve user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design-led customer acquisition: Transform high-traffic pages from conversion-focused to discovery-focused experiences
- Partner with marketing to create cohesive brand experiences beyond traditional product boundaries
- Bringing qualitative and quantitative data together to continuously improve the customer experience
Requirements
- Design leadership experience
- 6+ years designing digital experiences with demonstrated impact on acquisition and growth metrics
- Experience designing for multiple audience segments within the same product
- Strong portfolio showing systems thinking and strategic design decisions
- Strong design fundamentals including interaction design, information architecture, usability principles, workshop facilitation
