The Lead Product Designer will own the end-to-end feel of Fohr's products, defining the visual and emotional tone in partnership with the CEO. They will collaborate closely with the product team and engineers to shepherd designs into reality while balancing product velocity with long-term usability.
Responsibilities
- Defining the look and feel of Fohr's products
- Thinking critically about design and aesthetics
- Maintaining skepticism of trends and jargon
- Building with low ego but strong conviction
- Balancing product velocity with long-term usability and consistency
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design
- Outstanding taste and strong opinions
- Confidence to say "no" far more often than "yes"
- Ability to bring the team to consensus quickly and decisively
