Product Designer

The Product Designer will drive the entire product design experience from initial concept sketches and user flows through prototyping and final shipping to customers. This involves partnering closely with product and engineering teams on requirements and sequencing for initiatives they lead.
Responsibilities
- Work with the ML research team to improve discoverability and usability of Augmentâs AI assistant features via chat in various editors and on the Web
- Work with engineers to develop ergonomic UX solutions for editor limitations
- Host a design workshop on ways to productize a particular AI technology
- Work with Developer Experience and Marketing teams to discover new user needs and product opportunities
- Contribute to and improve Augmentâs design systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a designer in SaaS and software authoring tools
- Comfortable prototyping in and working with code
- Ability to drive work forward and ship product experiences users love
- Experienced in systems thinking & design
- Ownership: ability to set own goals and balance velocity and quality
- Collaboration: ability to partner closely with team members across the org
