Staff Product Designer (They/She/He)

The Staff Product Designer will act as a strategic partner to define team strategy, influence major product decisions, and shape roadmaps for complex initiatives while defining the long-term user experience vision. This role involves leading the entire design process from concept through high-fidelity implementation and serving on the UX leadership team to ensure design consistency.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to product, engineering, data, and UX research to define team strategy, influence major product decisions, and shape the roadmap for complex initiatives
• Define the long-term user experience vision and strategy for the area, leading the entire design process from concept through high-fidelity implementation in ambiguous environments
• Serve on the UX leadership team, collaborating with managers and other staff designers to ensure consistency, quality, and cohesion of design practices across the product organization
• Lead and influence product decisions with a strong foundation in qualitative and quantitative insights, translating user needs and business metrics into measurable product impact
• Demonstrate clear excellence in at least two core craft domains (interaction, visual, prototyping), and architect comprehensive information structures and new design patterns that set benchmarks

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with user interfaces, interaction paradigms, and visual design patterns
• Strong portfolio with case studies that demonstrate process, problem-solving capabilities, and design leadership
• Proven experience working with qualitative and quantitative data to support data-informed decision-making and drive design roadmaps
• Strong understanding of accessibility best practices for design and software development
• Deep knowledge of operating system (iOS/Android/Web) standards and guidelines
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Pragmatic and able to autonomously manage different stakeholder needs and articulate complex design decisions
