Product Designer

The Product Designer will lead the design of digital products focusing on user needs, creating intuitive and functional user experiences across web and mobile platforms. This involves creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups while collaborating closely with product managers and developers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of digital products with a strong focus on user needs, ensuring that designs are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with both user and business goals
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate design ideas and functionality to stakeholders and development teams
• Design and refine user interfaces for both web and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency, visual appeal, and usability across all touchpoints
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather user feedback to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet technical requirements and align with the product vision
• Incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate and improve designs over multiple phases, continuously optimizing the product experience
• Contribute to and maintain a cohesive design system to ensure consistency across all products and channels
• Ensure that the design of products aligns with SkillersZone’s brand guidelines, providing a consistent and engaging brand experience for users
• Provide developers with all necessary design assets and specifications, and collaborate with them to ensure the successful implementation of designs
• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to create innovative solutions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role with a strong portfolio
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software
• Experience with prototyping tools such as InVision, Axure, or similar
• Strong knowledge of user experience design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with design systems and maintaining consistent design standards across multiple products
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to approach design challenges creatively and effectively
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts clearly to stakeholders and development teams
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
