Senior UX Designer

The role requires hands-on delivery across the entire design lifecycle, producing strategic deliverables like service maps and logic flows, while also setting the standard for design quality and mentoring junior team members. Key duties involve leading discovery efforts, balancing business goals with user needs, and ensuring complex user flows and information architecture are defined.

Responsibilities

• Mastery of Craft: hands-on delivery, creating wireframes, and building prototypes
• Leading by Example: setting the standard for design standards and mentoring junior team members
• Strategic Discovery: leading discovery, defining the discovery strategy, and taking vague business bets and turning them into validated directions
• Balancing the Scales: partnering with designers to provide logical guardrails and ensuring complex user flows and information architecture are settled
• Stakeholder Diplomacy: acting as a peer to Product colleagues and navigating fast-paced delivery phases
• Design Ops & Governance: defining the manual, building processes, and managing the scalability of the design system

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX/Product Design Roles
• Experience in a SaaS organisation during a large transformation period, and/or EdTech
• Business-Minded: understanding of KPIs and ROI
• IA Proficiency: ability to map out complex, multi-state ecosystems
• Pragmatic Leader: ability to push for a research-led pivot and when to ship a "Version 1" to maintain business momentum
