Staff Product Designer

The Staff Product Designer will define and disseminate the product experience vision aligned with business strategy, leading structured research to understand user needs and opportunities. They will also execute tactical deliverables, translating ideas into high-quality prototypes, ensuring validation through continuous testing and iteration to achieve expected results.

Responsibilities

• Define and disseminate the product experience vision, aligned with the business strategy, and support the translation of this strategy into the product roadmap
• Lead studies on customer needs, pains, and usage patterns to strengthen the user-centered culture, anticipate opportunities, and guide the evolution of the experience
• Continuously monitor market movements, bringing analyses that guide strategic differentials and competitive positioning of products
• Conduct structured and recurrent research processes to reveal pains, journeys, and relevant opportunities
• Participate in the definition of hypotheses and success metrics, influencing the prioritization of ideas with high potential impact
• Translate ideas into pixel-perfect concepts and prototypes, ensuring consistency, quality, technical viability, and strategic alignment
• Validate deliveries with customers and stakeholders, leading continuous testing and experimentation practices to reduce risks and accelerate learning
• Monitor product and experience metrics, directing incremental improvements and iterating deliveries quickly to achieve expected results
• Mentor talents, helping to build a high-performance Design team focused on autonomy, innovation, and continuous growth
• Contribute to the evolution of the Design System, frameworks, processes, and tools, promoting practices that make the team more efficient, agile, and with high standards of excellence
• Stimulate knowledge sharing and co-creation through rituals and forums that strengthen the culture of exchange, critical analysis, and collective evolution
• Ensure alignment, visibility, and constant collaboration with Engineering, Products, and other peer areas and leadership, ensuring fluid processes, rapid decisions, and strategically aligned solutions

Requirements

• Solid experience in Product Design (over 7 years of experience), proven by portfolio or cases that demonstrate process, impact, and results
• Background with high-uncertainty projects, including creating 0→1 B2B products in complex SaaS platforms, in fast-growing tech companies
• Hands-on, autonomous, and collaborative profile, with proactivity to lead initiatives and support the team to ensure high-quality deliveries
• Sense of urgency and results-oriented mentality, with high capacity for self-management to maintain efficiency and speed without compromising quality
• Strong business vision and ability to translate strategy clearly into tactics, balancing long-term vision with consistent short-term deliveries
• Critical thinking and sharp craft to deliver high-level outputs in usability, functionality, and visual aspects, ensuring simple, accessible, and enchanting experiences
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills, able to engage different areas, influence peers, stakeholders, and inspire the team
