Product Engineering - Product Designer

The Product Designer will be responsible for designing and testing HVAC equipment and systems using SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards. Key duties also involve performing necessary calculations and analysis, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with various teams for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Designing and testing HVAC equipment and systems according to client specifications and industry standards using SolidWorks and other software tools
- Performing calculations, simulations, and analysis of HVAC systems to optimize performance, efficiency, cost, and manufacturability
- Preparing technical reports, drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and manufacturing documentation for HVAC projects
- Collaborating with manufacturing teams, other engineers, designers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery of HVAC solutions
Requirements
- Graduated from a Mechanical Engineering degree or Technology program
- Knowledge of the mechanical engineering principles, codes, standards, manufacturing, and testing related to the HVAC industry
- Application knowledge of international standards used in sustainable building design and the technical air distribution technologies used in green building design
- A strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- A proficiency in using SolidWorks and other engineering tools
