This senior role involves guiding UX design practices across the Ministry of Social and Family Development cluster, requiring both hands-on design expertise and leadership of cross-ministry initiatives. The designer will work closely with senior stakeholders on multiple projects spanning citizen-facing applications, case management systems, and data analytics tools.
Responsibilities
- Guide UX design practices across the MSF cluster
- Lead cross-ministry initiatives, working with senior stakeholders across multiple projects and teams
- Work across multiple concurrent projects with ITG teams
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners on various ministry systems
- Interface regularly with stakeholders from different ministry divisions including policy, operations, and technology teams
- Contribute to projects spanning citizen-facing applications, case management systems, content management platforms, and data analytics tools
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive UX/UI design experience
- At least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity
- Proven track record of leading design initiatives across multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience working with senior stakeholders and C-level executives
- Experience in government, enterprise, or large-scale organizational settings is highly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating product thinking, strategic leadership, design process, and measurable impact
