The role involves serving as a Lead Experience Designer focused on the Verizon Design System team. Key duties include contributing to the creation and architecture of reusable components and specifications within the Design System.
Responsibilities
- System Creation & Contribution: actively contribute to the creation of a Design System
- Figma Component Architecture: demonstrate expert capability in component design within Figma
- Documentation & Governance: author comprehensive design documentation and guidelines
- Agile Workflow & UI Standards: work in Agile environments and possess strong knowledge of UI standards
Requirements
- At least 7 years of total professional design experience
- 2-3 years spent specifically working within a Design Systems team
- Expert capability in component design within Figma
- Comprehensive design documentation and guidelines for component usage and development
- Proven experience working in Agile environments
- Strong knowledge of UI standards for iOS, Android, and Web platforms
