Onsite $142,500 - $205,000 Full-time Senior

Develop and execute design and research strategies for complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs across multiple product areas. Lead end-to-end design initiatives by diagramming service flows, designing wireframes, and prototyping interactions for key touchpoints. Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion by driving the adoption of inclusive design practices and mentoring junior designers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute design/research strategies for complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs across multiple product areas
  • Diagrams service flows and product features, design wireframes, and prototype interactions for key touchpoints as you lead end-to-end design initiatives within a specific domain
  • Drive the adoption of inclusive design practices and accessibility guidelines, mentor junior designers, and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience design into product development processes and ensure seamless, customer-centric solutions
  • Analyze market trends, gather feedback from user research, and learn from data insights to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences across platforms and channels
  • Create scalable design approaches that enable repeatable processes and improve product speed to market
  • Elevate the design craft of the team by modeling good practices and fostering a culture of learning and respectful critique
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across a matrixed organization, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration throughout the design process

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience design or similar roles
  • Demonstrated ability to create visual representations of user journeys, such as storyboarding, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Demonstrated experience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines, with the ability to incorporate diverse perspectives and abilities into design solutions
  • Proven ability to develop experiences that meet or exceed the initial proposal of a product or experience, including transformational innovation strategies and 'north star' representations to drive customer-centric decision-making
  • Advanced technical literacy, including an advanced understanding of client-side technologies, APIs, microservices, and technology stack components and their impact on user experience
  • Mastery of stakeholder management in a matrixed organization; ability to influence, align, and drive outcomes across diverse teams
  • Ability to use metrics and data to measure, test, and improve products over time
  • Strong documentation and storytelling skills; proven ability to align broad stakeholder cohorts around a design vision and shared roadmap
  • Proven ability to deliver product design at scale, coordinating across teams to gain agreements and resolve blockers
