This role involves leading large, strategic AI and web initiatives critical to business success, focusing on transforming how people work globally through elegant design that catalyzes productivity. The designer will provide strategic direction and vision for multidisciplinary teams while acting as an industry influencer and thought leader.
Responsibilities
- Lead large, cross-product, strategic AI and web initiatives that are critical to the success of a business unit or the company as a whole
- Drive product experiences that exemplify deep understanding of machine learning, elegant design, catalyze user and enterprise productivity, create extensible systems and frameworks, and inspire customers
- Provide strategic direction, vision, and leadership for collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary teams
- Act as an industry influencer and thought leader, advancing the industry through contributions to trade events and publications
- Raise the bar for the entire design team on how to envision, build and iterate on compelling product experiences
Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant design experience with strong first principle thinking
- An inspiring portfolio demonstrating formative contributions to design language, strategy, processes, and standards, up to company level
- Strategic advocate for design and for users at the cross-functional senior leadership and executive level
- Proven experience in creating business value with a strong balance of understanding of technologies, deep knowledge of product & engineering
- Influence skills and drive to define design strategies across multiple products and/or complex horizontal initiatives
- BA/BS degree or higher in Design, Design Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent combination of education and experience in other related fields

- Base pay of $221,200 - $387,100
