(Senior) Product Designer (all genders)

The role involves leading design projects from initial research through final product design, ensuring a cohesive user experience by integrating user research and data insights into all design decisions. The designer will take full ownership of specific product experiences, collaborating cross-functionally and contributing strategically to the product's future direction across B2B and B2C contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from initial research and discovery through to final product design
• Conduct and integrate user research, market analysis, and data-driven insights into the design process
• Take full responsibility for the user experience of a specific product or feature, from concept to launch
• Play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of Wemolo’s products by contributing to strategic design discussions and decisions
• Analyze the customer experience of direct customers and the experience of people parking in managed parking lots
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate research insights into innovative ideas, concepts, and final designs
• Translate customer insights into quantifiable business opportunities, delivering actionable insights to diverse audiences

Requirements

• A degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Design, Communication Design, or a related field
• At least 3+ years of professional in-house experience as a Product Designer
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX and UI design skills in a software development environment
• Proficient in working with and contributing to design systems, particularly in Figma
• Demonstrated experience in leading user research initiatives and integrating research findings into the design process
• Experience using data and research to identify problems, develop solutions, and inform design decisions
• Familiarity with business process management, process excellence, or related technologies
• Proven ability to work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality design solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders
• Strong written and spoken German and English (level C1 on the CEFR scale)
