Senior Product Designer (Consumer)

The Senior Product Designer will drive strategic discovery and research to understand consumer needs, leading the design strategy and execution for complex, high-impact features from problem framing to final delivery. They will partner closely with cross-functional teams to test hypotheses and shape product direction while advocating for design excellence and inclusivity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic discovery and research to understand consumer needs and opportunities, ensuring users are at the forefront of every solution.
- Lead the design strategy and execution for complex, high-impact features, taking full ownership from initial problem framing to final delivery.
- Prototype high-quality user journeys and product experiences that raise the standard of design excellence and set benchmarks for quality within the product.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Content Designers, and Researchers, using your influence to help shape product strategy.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to test hypotheses across Trustpilotâs consumer web and iOS platforms.
- Clearly articulate the value of great design and its connection to measurable business goals, influencing stakeholders at every level.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and bring them to the teamâs attention.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring all designs support diverse user groups effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience designing for high traffic digital products, with a strong understanding of shifting consumer mindsets and challenges.
- A solid portfolio showcasing strong Product Design, discovery and UX research skills, as well as an in-depth knowledge of UX design processes.
- Evidence of design work that has delivered a measurable business impact and shaped product direction.
- Skilled in both communication and storytelling, with the ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency with Figma and other industry-standard design and prototyping tools.
- Familiarity with front-end implementation practices and experience collaborating with Engineers, as well as Product Managers.
