Staff Product Designer

The role involves leading multiple product areas and defining the future of data analytics by designing simple and elegant experiences that delight business users exploring data. The designer will own product areas from concept through release while actively seeking end-user feedback in collaboration with PM, research, and support teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple areas of the product and help to define the future of data analytics
- Work with a talented team of designers on a shared mission to make data analytics highly usable and easily accessible to non-technical users
- Design world-class experiences
- Own areas of the product from design concept to release
- Actively seek end-user product feedback and collaboratively advance solutions to improve product adoption and utilization
Requirements
- 12+ years experience of interaction design
- Experience driving Vision and future thinking while dealing with day to day gradual improvements
- Experience leading multiple areas and presenting new directions to leadership
- Demonstrably strong interaction design fundamentals with a flair for visual appeal
- Proven track record of designing commercially successful, world-class software
- Capable of working autonomously, leading complex design projects and delivering high quality design solutions
- Capable of rapid iteration, feedback cycles, and experimentation
- Seeks understanding of customer needs and the ability to assess and incorporate their feedback
- Demonstrable ability to think about entire systems, with the vision to design the big picture, and the tactical ability to break it down so that engineering can succeed in building it incrementally
- Exceptional facilitation, communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor or Masters with specialization in HCI, Interaction Design or related field
- Expert on Figma
- Startup experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing product design work with an emphasis on interaction design
