The Senior Product Designer will influence the vision, strategy, and roadmap for PayMe while enhancing the overall customer and merchant experience to drive positive brand impact. This role involves driving the end-to-end project process, collaborating with Product & Tech teams, and ensuring the highest standard of craft across UX, UI, and UX Writing.

Responsibilities

  • Influence our vision, strategy, and roadmap to help position PayMe at the forefront of customer experience design
  • Enhance PayMe overall customer & merchant experience to create a positive impact, improving brand awareness & perception
  • Ensure the highest standard of craft, clarity and creativity, across user experience (UX), user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) Writing
  • Establish and maintain UX & UI guidelines, principles and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in our design workflows
  • Drive the end-to-end project process, supported and collaborating with Product & Tech teams
  • Conduct research and effectively apply data and insights to inform, evaluate, and validate customer experiences that deliver real value
  • Identify key risks, issues and interdependencies
  • Determine and apply appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Maintain regular & positive engagement with key support functions

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing digital products and services, with strategic responsibility and impact
  • A strong portfolio of design work delivered, demonstrating solutions that have delivered valuable outcomes & experiences to both customers and businesses
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt and learn at speed, managing communication and interactions with a variety of different stakeholders
  • Confidence mentoring others and contributing to a culture of growth and excellence
  • Expertise in Figma, design systems, prototyping, and core UX disciplines
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, fluency in written Chinese a plus
