Staff Product Designer, Copilot

The Staff Product Designer will spearhead the design of the GitHub Copilot experience, focusing on features like Agents and the AI-powered CLI, while prioritizing customer experiences across web, IDEs, terminals, and mobile platforms. This involves defining product direction, thinking systematically about information architecture, and exploring solutions based on emerging AI model capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Shape great products and developer experiences with a point of view
- Think systematically about information architecture and existing and emerging UI patterns
- Prioritize progress over correctness and keep making decisions and moving forward quickly
- Design responsive and accessible experiences that work across multiple platforms
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product or service design
- Bachelorâs degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field
- Experience as a Product Designer working with Engineers, Product Managers, and other Designers
