Architectural Product Designer

The Architectural Product Designer/Estimator will be responsible for translating architectural intent into real-world products by interpreting complex drawings, performing takeoffs, and preparing accurate project quotations. This role involves collaborating with architects and customers to refine designs while leading projects across internal departments and managing external vendors and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret complex architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications
- Perform takeoffs and prepare detailed, accurate project quotations
- Estimate time and materials using established methods and Excel-based formulas
- Collaborate directly with Architects to develop designs from concept to finished product
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret complex architectural blueprints and create accurate takeoffs
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with fabrication equipment such as shears, brakes, CNC punch, lasers, welders, etc.
- Strong mathematical computation skills
