Product Designer
Epignosis 🇬🇷 Athens, Central Athens, Greece
The Product Designer will be responsible for designing end-to-end user experiences from initial concepts through final UI and handoff, utilizing Figma to create various design artifacts and contributing to the evolution of the design system. They will own design solutions within their product area, ensuring they balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints while measuring success through usability and adoption.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences, from early concepts to final UI and handoff
- Use Figma to create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and design system components
- Contribute to and evolve the company's design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility across the product
- Translate product requirements and user needs into clear flows, interfaces, and interaction patterns
- Own design solutions within your product area, from problem definition to delivery, measuring success through usability, adoption, and product impact
- Apply user-centered, accessible, and usability-driven design principles
- Participate in user research activities such as usability testing, interviews, and surveys
- Interpret research findings and product data to inform design decisions
- Use AI-powered tools to support design work
- Document designs clearly, including interaction states, edge cases, and handoff details
- Present and communicate design decisions clearly to cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or similar roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related discipline supporting user-centered and digital product development
- Strong hands-on experience with Figma for UI design, prototyping, and contributing to design systems
- Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design fundamentals
- A strong eye for visual design, including layout, hierarchy, typography, and consistency
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices and inclusive design
- Comfort using research insights, feedback, and basic product metrics to inform design decisions
- Familiarity with AI tools in the design process
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional product teams
- Attention to detail and a pragmatic balance between quality and delivery speed
- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work
