The Graphic Designer will be responsible for executing visual output across digital, web, print, and merchandising, focusing on great typography, strong layout, and fast turnaround. This role also includes making routine web updates and visual edits within the WordPress content management system.
Responsibilities
- Design graphics for digital platforms (social media, email, web, video thumbnails)
- Design print materials (event collateral, advertising, one-pagers, internal documents, signage)
- Produce branded templates that maintain consistency across the institution
- Prepare files for print, merchandising, and digital distribution
- Make routine website updates in WordPress
- Upload and format new content pages in coordination with editorial
- Troubleshoot basic layout or formatting issues within WordPress themes
Requirements
- 2–5 years of graphic design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, layout, and digital work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Working knowledge of WordPress (content editing, page builds, basic troubleshooting)
- High attention to detail and strong file organization
